Mission of ACMJGT
Through Allegany College of Maryland’s mission of a lifelong learning community dedicated to excellence in education and responsive to the changing needs of the community, the professional golf management program would like to extend to the community by offering a junior golf tour to promote junior golf in the area. A junior golf tour is a series of golf tournaments that provide a competitive and learning atmosphere for golfers ranging from ten to eighteen years old.
The primary focus of the Allegany College of Maryland Junior Golf Tour (ACMJGT) is to provide a venue where young people can enjoy all that competitive golf has to offer, and to instill in each junior the value of a strong work ethic, good character, and integrity in golf in life.
