I have had the pleasure of teaching grades 8 through graduate classes, encompassing a variety of subject matter and an even wider variety of students. Nothing in life is quite so rewarding as inspiring students to stretch emotional and intellectual boundaries-to see new possibilities and potentialities. With more than 20 years of teaching experience, I feel that I'm able to offer helpful insights and encouragement to those students thinking about teaching as a career. I also believe that training effective teachers is crucial in the coming years if we want out educational system to improve.
