Allegany College of Maryland programs provide a comprehensive approach
to criminal justice education and are intended to prepare the student
for an everchanging society of law and order.
The Allegany College of Maryland Criminal Justice Program will:
(1) prepare the future peace officer or correctional office to be a productive
and efficent entry-level employee;
(2) provide broad technical training and experience leading the officer
to positions of increased responsibility
(3) enable students to seek employment at their completion through the
course work broad enough to provide a foundation for further study within
the field of criminal justice.
