Respiratory Care Program Faculty

Program Director- William Rocks, Ed.D, RRT has been the program director since 1980. He earned his Doctorate in Education & Leadership from West Virgina University and his Master's Degree in Health & Education from Frostburg State University.He has a Bachelor's degree in General Education from California State College. He received his AAS degree from Columbia Technical College. Bill has chaired numerous committies and has also served as the president of the Faculty Senate. He has been instrumental in the development and teaching of the Leadership Development courses offered at Allegany College of Maryland.

Clinical Director- Thomas Striplin, MEd, RRT, RPFT has been the Clinical Director since 1988. He earned his Bachelor's of Science Degree from Salisbury State University and his AAS in Respiratory Therapy from Hudson Valley Community College. He earned a Master's Degree in Education at Frostburg State University. He has held numerous professional leadership positions with the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) and the Maryland/District of Columbia Society for Respiratory Care. His most recent postiion witht he AARC was Speaker of the House of Delegates in 2004.

Clinical Instructor- Paula Fuller, MEd, RRT has been the clinical instructor since 1988. She earned a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Salisbury State University and a AA Degree from Allegany College of Maryland. She earned a Master's Degree in Education at Frostburg State University.
