190 Clinical Practice I - 5 semester hours
Offered second semester. Three hours of lecture, two hours of campus laboratory, and four hours of clinical per week. Clinical time will total at least 60 hours. Fee: $65.00.

This course covers oxygen and special gas therapy, principles of humidity and aerosol therapy and will acquaint students with techniques of chest physiotherapy, incentive spirometry, breathing exercises and pulmonary rehabilitation. The emphasis is on clinical application.

Prerequisite: Biology 201, Chemistry 100, Mathematics 102 and admission to the RT clinical program. Corequisite: RT 102 and RT 206.
