- OFFICE SYSTEMS SUPPORT The Office Systems Support certificate program is designed for the student who is interested in an administrative career in a professional office. This program is designed to prepare students with office management and technology skills including internal and external communications, integrated computer software applications, personal information management systems, meeting and event planning, research, and document preparation. Students will also incorporate business professionalism and ethics in customer and interpersonal office relations. A 60-hour externship in a professional office is available. Proficient keyboarding and computer skills are necessary for successful completion of this program. Course work in entry-level keyboarding is available through the college for students to meet this requirement. The complete program is applicable toward a two-year Associate in Applied Science degree in Office Technologies, Administrative Assistant option. This is a career program and is designed to enable students to seek employment at the program’s completion. If you plan to transfer to a four-year college or university, please check with your advisor and the Student Support Center as soon as possible. Successful completion of the program qualifies a student to apply for a Certificate in Office Technologies Office Systems Support. First Semester
