The advanced
practice nurse has a master's degree in nursing and usually works in hospitals,
rehabilitation centers, community clinics and offices. In addition, many
of these nurses specialize in management of a disease such as cancer or
in a specific field such as pediatrics. Nursing research, informatics,
and education are just a few of the advanced specialties available.
