PROGRAM COSTS

The following is a list of approximate program costs to complete the Therapeutic Massage Program for the academic year 2008-2009.

  1.   Tuition costs: $99/credit x 70 credits $6,930
  2.   Lab fees for courses $1,625
  3.   Scrubs for clinicals: $30/set x 2 sets $60
  4.   Linens: $30/set x 2 sets $60
  5.   CPR/First Aid (FA)
          CPR $42*in-county + $12/book ($54)
          FA $32*in-county + $9/book ($41)		 $95
  6.   ABMP Membership dues (2 years) includes insurance $125
  7.   Massage club dues paid monthly at $12.50/mo for 18 months $225
  8.   Books ** $1,530
  9.   Massage table $1000
10.   Professional massages: ** 4 X $50 $200
11.   Registration for National Certification Exam Review $4
   
TOTAL: 
 $11,854

* This is based on in-county tuition. Costs would be higher for students out of State.  Currently, the Therapeutic Massage Program is a Statewide Designated Program.  Students, who are Maryland residents, may attend Statewide Designated Programs at any Maryland public community college at the in-county tuition rate for the institution.
