Natural Resources Careers Conference

  Free Conference tuition for Maryland high school students!
  $500 Stipend for ACM forestry students serving as conference interns at Camp Hickory in Garrett County!

Forestry students that have completed the ACM summer program are eligible for a $500 stipend if they serve as a camp intern at the week-long Natural Resources Careers Conference. Current forestry students benefit in several ways, including:
            -gaining valuable leadership skills
            -networking with natural resources professionals
            -earning $500.00

The camp is free and open to all Maryland high school students.  Students can elect to earn 2 ACM college credits (Introduction to Forestry).  High School students benefit in several ways, including:
            -earning 2 college credits for ACM’s Forest Technology program
            -meeting and learning from current ACM forestry students and natural resource professionals
            -working as a resources manager for a week

 

The camp is held during the last week of July and is available to Maryland high school students.
