Ed2Go Allegany College of Maryland’s online continuing education courses offer the opportunity to update and improve your work and life skills, as well as enhance your ability to explore new areas of interest at your own pace and schedule.

All courses are instructor facilitated and begin monthly on a Wednesday. Two lessons are posted each week for six weeks. You access and work on the materials at your own pace and schedule. The courses are supplemented with interactive quizzes, assignments, tutorials, and online discussion board areas. Typically each lesson takes about 2 hours to complete. Over six- weeks, you invest approximately 24 hours in training.Remember, you have the capability to interact with the instructor and other students online. There is a required online orientation for each course. This insures that you will be familiar with and comfortable with online education, meet any course prerequisite, and that your computer equipment is working well. The online orientation must be completed before the scheduled course start date.

Equipment Requirements For An Online Course

You must have:

A computer with at least a 486 or Pentium equivalent processor.
Internet access.
An e-mail address.
