Awesome Autumn Greetings!

Barb Beebe

As the cool weather descends upon us and our forests transform from purple mountain majesty to the fireworks of fall, please settle back, leaf through our offerings, and discover dozens of new possibilities to guide you on your path to success. Are you looking to stroll down the personal enrichment pathway and pause for an art or history class?

We have many new courses this fall from which to choose. Perhaps you’d like to hike the workforce development hills and challenge yourself to a course in business or computer repair. Or possibly push yourself with a pulse quickening Zumba or Lifeguard Certification course. The possibilities are almost as numerous as the falling leaves.

Looking for a unique gift? How about a gift certificate for one of our always popular Recreational Culinary Courses or Cultural Coach Bus trips? Certificates can be customized for any occasion and can be arranged through Kathy Condor at 301-784-5121.

We have recently reorganized our Business and Industry Area, renaming it the more current, inclusive, and appropriateWorkforce Development Division. If you get a chance to stop by the Center for Continuing Education, please welcome Lisa Beeman, our new Coordinator of Workforce Development.

As you browse through our catalog, please take note of the NEW leaf icon, indicating the many new offerings this fall. As always, if you don’t see a course you would like us to offer, or if you yourself would like to teach a course through continuing education, please feel free to contact us.

Your path to success starts here… we welcome you to come walk with us!

Warmest Regards,

Barb Beebe

Barbara R. Beebe, Ph.D.
Vice President of Continuing Education
