VISION & MISSION STATEMENTS

Our "Vision Statement" states:   "Allegany College of Maryland will be the leader and spokesperson at the regional and national level for the transformation of health care education.  We will advocate an integrative model which combines components of traditional  medicine with the concepts of spirituality, healing, wholeness, and partnership.  We envision interdisciplinary health care teams that are empowered by the advances of science and medicine and the healing power of relationships and the spirit."

Our "Mission Statement" states "Allegany College of Maryland's Integrative Health Model of Education provides high quality, comprehensive, evidence-based learning experiences which focus on the unity of Mind, Body, and Spirit.  As an educational resource faculty, we are dedicated to encouraging open dialogue about emerging approaches to healing.  We are committed to educating compassionate healers who promote wholeness in themselves, patients, and society.  The College is responsive to meeting the present and future needs of the health care community."
